My research focuses on the impact of attention and prediction during naturalistic viewing (i.e. across saccadic eye-movements).

After completing a BSc. in Psychology, I moved onto a Masters in Brain Imaging Research and PhD in Neuroscience & Biomedical Systems in Lars Muckli’s lab, all at the University of Glasgow. During my PhD, I focused on the integration of predictive feedback with sensory input in V1 across saccades using fMRI. After my PhD, I moved to the South of France for a postdoctoral position with Patrick Cavanagh and Rufin VanRullen. During this time, I worked on the effect of attention on predictive position processing in the visual system using transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and electroencephalography (EEG).

Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Italian Institute of Technology working at Harvard University with Lorella Battelli. I focus on the time-dependent effect of transcranial electric stimulation (tES) and TMS on functional connectivity of the dorsal attention network, measured using fMRI and EEG.
